Fiveeightzero is one of the UK's fastest growing independent pub groups - based in London but with venues throughout the UK. Our ethos is continual improvement and hard work on every level, building quality sites that grow year on year, rather than opening with a big bang and fading away.
As a small independent company we tailor the offer to suit our sites. Unlike a number of other pub companies rolling out one offer we feel the marketplace has moved to a new level. Our offers can feature Bar Pub hybrids with home cooked food, a fanatastic drinks range, real ales and great DJs but we also have sites specialising in cocktails and live music from London to Bristol to Leeds. Some end up almost nightclubs (open pretty late) and some are straightforward gastropubs All of these elements offer a unique range of skills and experience to our ever growing team.
We have an experienced and professional head office team, offering training and support at all levels - letting our managers manage to the fullest. We are very proud of our staff retention rates at Fiveeightzero, where a good and willing attitude can be as important as good quality experience. Many of our senior staff have worked quickly up through our training program, ending up with extremely competitive packages as a result with a strong salary bonus programme - rewarding innovation and hard work is important to us.
We also believe in growing a team that enjoys working together and have several team trips away for managers and assistants to look at places and come back full of exciting ideas. Previous trips have ranged from New York to Berlin to Istanbul and we actively encourage feedback from and ideas from our team members...and then there's the annual staff get-together where we close all the pubs and have a highly competitive fancy dress party!!!
Fiveeightzero also has associated events such as Londons' leading leftfield music festival 'Field Day', events at the worlds' best nightclub Fabric and various other projects such as the multi-venued wristband event 'Stag and Dagger' in Shoreditch, Leeds and Glasgow allowing our staff a number of rewards and opportunities other companies cannot deliver.
